Question: Is it okay to wear 18th century clothing to a 14th century Renaissance Festival?
I have an 18th Century dress/costume. I would love to dress all up like Marie Antoinette.
But I don't want to be a faux pas at the festival (;

Answer: These festivals are all about dressing up and having fun. Many people are anachronistic (wearing/saying things from the wrong time/place) at Renaissance fairs and festivals, and unless you are one of the paid staff, it shouldn't matter. Get dressed up, look/feel beautiful, and "let them eat cake!"

Question: Is it ironic for the right to complain about the "liberal welfare" and then call Ms. Obama Marie Antoinette?
I mean they fight against 9-11 workers and unemployment extrensions? but it's Michelle who's saying "let them eat cake"?
do cons really want to wade into this class warfare issue? really?
Answer: Yes. Especially when she paid 4 the trip with her own money. The secret service is paid by our tax dollars. Of course we need our First Lady protected. I don't the neocons would've complain if she was white. Neocons are always bettcing and moaning about something. Plus,. this story started with Faux News then the other news network pick up on it. I guess in their reality African Americans can't be millionaires. ¥
