Question: how to make a dress look old, but not ruining it?
for Halloween I'm going as marie antoinette, I have the outfit, it does look quite old as its my mums old wedding dress, but not old enough, any hints that wouldnt ruin/stain it? I will look quite scary with a sli throat wound, my origional plan was to bury the dress in my garden, not sure I'm allowed now though.

Answer: Maybe find another dress, since it's your mom's wedding dress.
If your mom insists you use this one, try to put some fake grey spider webs all over it.
