Question: Marie Antoinette Movies 2006 & 1938?
Okay so i personally love the 1938 Marie Antoinette i think it was a great movie ! I have never seen the 2006 one because it does not look as good and looks more modern and not really based on the old times of the other one does. I was wondering what you guys think is a better movie the 2006 or the 1938 if you have seen them both . And if you agree with me on what i think. And should i see the 2006 one?
Answer: The 2006 version is bloody awful. Don't even bother!
I've watched both fairly recently. In fact, I only watched the remake because I loved the original. The remake, however, was a huge disappointment to me. I wanted to like it, and I did sit through the entire thing, but to me, it was a waste of time. It was no where near as interesting. In the remake, the queen was just portrayed as a bored teenager. She doesn't age in the movie. There is nothing about the necklace scandal from what I recall. If there was, I was so bored that I missed it. I greatly appreciated the orginal and just as equally hated the remake.

Marie Antoinette Dress Pattern

Question: Ideas Please! Easy points!?
Need Ideas for a Marie Antoinette themed party. I am turning 13 and most likely I will be doing it inside. Need ideas for food, and activities.
Plus I want to find a cheap Marie dress. Like less than $40. But I found really cheap patterns online.... so about how much would it cost to have one made. Most likely not one full length like maybe to the knees!

Answer: I think you should go for lots of finger foods.
Grapes, cupcakes, lady-fingers and quiches are some things that I think would be great
Activities could be like decorating your own cupcakes or musical chairs, even a little classical dance party could be fun!
And for the dress I think you should go check out places like Goodwill or Salvation Army
If there's nothing there just keep your eyes open everywhere you go you'll find something
Another Idea is you can have a modern day Marie Antoinette party as in it's all "royalty" around but you have a very funky dress or something. Glow in the dark things around and have it very fun and colourful, but that's just another way to go with it.
