Question: My costume is Marie Antoinette this Halloween but instead of buying a wig, how can i do the hairstyle myself?
Answer: It's only possible if you have really long, thick hair... If you do, try curling the top layer of your hair and pinning it up over a styrofoam block or something like that. You'll have to find a size that works... Use a TON of hairspray. Then put the rest into pipe curls and let it hang. Or you could put it all up and just leave a few curls out. To get the wig color just use a temporary dye in white or light blue. I would practice this a couple of times before the night of, because it might work better for you not to curl your top layer and etc.
