Question: ROM and Marie Antoinette dress?
For a couple of days the Royal Ontario Museum is displaying
one of Marie Antoinette's Dresses. I was wondering what dress
it was and if anyone had already taken pictures?
Answer: The dress is a two-piece court dress dating to the 1780's. It will be on display between 11 and 26 October 2008 at the Patricia Harris Gallery of Textiles and Costume at ROM. This (I believe) is an image depicting part of the dress:
