Question: romantic movies...?
i love romantic movies...movies taht deal with prince and princess and other, for example " romeo and juliet & marie antoinette & elizabeth.& pride and prejudice. i have a hard itme finding these types of movies. can someone give me a list of them. i know i can always search online but it hard cos i cant find these types. if theres any movies like this that you can name off the top of you head please share. thanks!
Answer: Tristan And Isolde (great movie!), The Princess Bride, and Ever After. Those are all romance movies about either a Prince or Princess. The best romance movie that I've watched though, is "The Love Letter". I'll give you a little description to see if you find it appealing.. this is from the back cover...
Transcending the dimension of time, a love letter found in a secret compartment of an antique desk magically seals the fate of two young people linked by destiny yet separated by more than one hundred years. When Scotty (Cambell Scott-Dying Young) discovers a poignant letter written by a mysterious woman called Lizzie (Jennifer Jason Leigh-N.Y. Film critics Award for Georgia), he cannot get her out of his mind. Putting thoughts of his upcoming wedding aside, he is compelled to write Lizzie a letter of his own. A romantic correspondence ensues and flourishes into a love so powerful, not even a century and a half of time can keep them apart. Spanning an era from the Civil War to the present day, the perils of Lizzie's war torn present threaten her safe passage into the future. Would their love be strong enough to endure the test of time?
Now there are two movies with that title, I do believe? If you decide to watch it, make sure you get the one made in 1998. =)

Question: Interesting Royal lives to write about?
I'm trying to write historical fiction. Are there some good royal stories any of you history buffs out there can think of? I'm trying to find something other than the obvious ones that have already been turned into movies (The Young Victoria, The Duchess, Marie Antoinette, ect.) It doesn't have to be a king or queen -- any noblility will do.
Answer: Boadicea would be interesting, I think.
