Question: French Revolution Essay Help Please?! Marie Antoinette?
'The Responsibility for the French Revolution was hers and hers alone.' How far is this interpretation justified?
(her being Marie Antoinette)
I can't decide where to begin; my problem is mainly that I cannot think of what to write about. If someone said to me: 'You need to write a paragraph about ______'
Then I could do it but.....
Tell me what paragraphs I should write about and I can write well but I am stuck on what to write about and where to begin. I think that the French Revolution would have started without her; but it wouldn't have started when it did. ie:- as quickly
any help appreciated
Answer: Marie Antoinette
Crown Princess of Austria and Queen Consort of France
Marie Antoinette is probably one of the most remembered yet misunderstood women in history. Her name is not only synonymous with the French Revolution and her infamous saying, "Let them eat cake", but also with selfishness, greed, excessiveness, cold-heartedness and so on. But, like every story told, there are two sides to it. Most people are familiar with the one associated with the words above, and to an extent, that is true. But there is also another side to her and that's the side I want to explore of her.
In writing your essay = of course you need to include the 5 W's - who what where when why.
If you follow these W's you will have a complete informative essay.
Your paragraphs will form naturally as you answer the 5 w's
Here is an excellent site that tells the WHOLE story of Marie Antoinette - she was a Scapegoat for the French.
Crown Princess of Austria and Queen Consort of France ... Marie grew up as the youngest and favorite daughter and was brought up believing that she would become the queen of France.

Question: I'm looking for a NICE Marie Antoinette Style Dress...?
So far all I've been able to find are super slutty ones such as this:
And really tacky ones like this:
Unfortunately I can't sew and I've already checked a few thrift shops. So, can anyone tell me where I can find a nice one online? Perhaps from a historical replica site or something (not something like party city or walmart). If you say ebay, then send me an exact link please. Also, if it were under $200 that would be great! Sorry I'm being so picky.. but it's for my 18th birthday party!
Or does anyone know of any good costume rental stores in the los angeles area?
10 pts for the most helpful answer!! Thanks
Answer: Well my best advice is that you buy them from a costume shop (it's almost Halloween, so these shops are open almost everywhere). Although the pictures for the costumes look pretty trashy, I recommend you go and try some on anyways (maybe they're not too short on you, or you can buy a few sizes bigger and have it altered or fit you)
