How Did Marie Antoinette Contribute To The French
![]() |
Question: How do you write a good long conclusion?
I just wrote my history essay and it has to be at least 4 full pages, and i have 3 and 1/2 but. I still havent written my conclustion. Its on the the French Revolution and whos fault the revolution was. this is my thesis.
The real reasons behind the French Revolution were, extreme financial debt, relative powerlessness of the 3rd estate, and the Louis XVI marrying Marie Antoinette all contributed to the French Revolution.
what can i write in a conclusion??
Answer: You might want to take another look at your thesis statement. Try something more like, "Three major, sometimes overlooked contributing factors leading to the French Revolution were extreme financial debt, relative powerlessness of the 3rd estate, and the marriage of Louis XVI to Marie-Antoinette."
As far as your conclusion, make certain you have stated and provided all necessary information in the body of your arguments beforehand. Once you have finished your argument, the conclusion should become obvious as to where you stand, however you should restate it, using your thesis statement toward the end, showing that you set out to argue a point and you succeeded in doing so. Make sure to link any loose ends together (How did these three contributing factors work together in the end to cause the revolution?) Be as specific and wordy as possible. Pretend you are writing to someone who has not been sitting in your history class and knows absolutely nothing about the topic. Cover every single angle. It may seem obvious to you and so you decide to leave it out, but you have to include everything in exhaustion!.
Good luck, I'm sure you'll do great!
